We are thrilled to announce that Sergio Pérez has joined OMT!
Sergio is a versatile and seasoned HSQE professional with 20 years of experience in major infrastructure construction projects. His career has taken him across diverse locations, from the execution of the Barcelona Subway Line 5 in Spain and the rehabilitation of Craiova Airport in Romania, to the construction of Highway E75 – Corridor X in Serbia, and most recently, the new swinging bridge at Ekerö in Sweden. There OMT first met Sergio when he was a client, serving as the Quality, Environmental, and Safety Manager on a project involving our team.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Sergio is an avid music enthusiast who enjoys capturing life’s moments through his camera lens, using Pentax and Fuji gear with M42 screw mount lenses. He loves listening to vinyl records from bands like the noisy Scottish band Mogwai, the retro synthesizers of Boards of Canada, and the minimalist compositions of A Winged Victory for the Sullen. Music, especially live concerts, fuels his passion. And yes, his brain doubles as a band database—he can name albums faster than a guitar riff!

At OMT, Sergio brings his Spanish passion for problem-solving, a track record of building strong and friendly teams, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. In his first assignment with us, he is collaborating with one of the world’s leading global companies in energy transmission to make a positive impact.
