Lantmännen Agroetanol

Expansion of the existing ethanol plant to accommodate a new gluten plant for the production of 20,000 tons/year of gluten protein, including storage and packaging. Tasks included handling preparatory work such as permits related to the work environment during the planning phase, and further responsibility for the work environment and BAS-U during the implementation/construction phase, according to the following construction steps:

– Earthworks, concrete, piling
– Expansion of the existing plant
– Extension of the mill house including new milling equipment
– Extended switch room
– New silos
– Grain reception, sifting silo, bran silo
– Transport system for product from mill to gluten plant
– Process assembly
– Electrical installations
– Ventilation

Responsibilities included:

• Preparatory BAS-P support, permit management, documentation production, ID06, training, safety information, and resource coordination
• Coordination between the project and ongoing 24/7 production/maintenance
• Risk and change analyses produced internally and reviewed externally
• Investigation of LIA incident reports, chemical product control
• Management of protective materials and other safety-related equipment
• Permit management with authorities (Tax Agency, Work Environment Authority, Air Traffic Control, Rescue Service, etc.)
• Safety and work environment coordination meetings between the project and production teams
• Documentation management (AMP, APD, permits, training records)
• Introduction and coordination meetings with contractors
